JD Greenstar on Bateman?

I am currently running an 08 RB 35 with an agleader insight screen than controls the sprayer and section control and a JD G/S that does the auto steer with a JD steering wheel motor and it also provides the position for the section control. It works but not perfectly two problems are too many screens in the cab and the JD system isn't reliable enough and the back up from the dealer is pretty poor. When I order my next bateman it will come with the agleader sysyem fully integrated on rtk. If you do go for the JD system don't have the steering wheel motor have it integrated into the steering hydraulics.

Is it spec for spec? Pm
Me you spec and I'll tell you if it's correct.
Top screen
ISO control of norac
Rtk via UHF signal
Section and rate control
Full hydraulic auto steer
VRA unlocked
Cloud based info exchange
Gate keep compatible
Full onsite commission and operator training?
If so then fair is fair

Ther is a new JD adapter, new in UK, which will alow 2630 to rate control and section control any sprayer . New toy has an x20 fitted will try it first before deciding looks like an adapter would allow it to use JD signal?

My X20 takes a feed from my JD antenna. The older style receiver shroud already has an extra NMEA port & it should be easy enough to get a Y splitter for the newer type shrouds.

Thanks for that looks like there's a cable available. Does this provide coverage switching on the JD screen?

Not sure what you mean. Section control etc is done on the X20 & the two are independent, with no crossover at all. The SF3000 antenna only provides the signal & hopefully, the SF1/SF2 correction too. I use the JD screen for sutosteer then the X20 for everything on the sprayer.

Make sure that the baud rate (19200) is the same on both screens. Tick the GGA & VTG boxes in the Serial Port of the antenna menu.

Was going to link 2630 to gatekeeper thought info would be more accurate if X20 switched coverage on and off on it. Will see if harvest doc connect will otherwise will run a wire from the master switch.

Both Greenstar and the X20 will produce GDX files from applications or passes that can be imported into Gatekeeper via USB memory stick. I am going to try to import a load of these files into Gatekeeper this autumn for VR applications to see what actually was applied, not just what should have been applied.
