This is why drills shouldn't have press wheels. They are only of use in dry conditions
Trouble is you cant use a Mzuri or DTS without them ?

Does build up on the wheel lead to uneven seed depth? As far as I'm aware the DTS wheels are all still turning, lots being used today, there's nothing in their way to stop them

The DTS was top of my shopping list when looking at drills - but new was out of my price range, and no used ones about. It doesn't seem to be a problem, the wheels look bigger but in reality they don't get much bigger than the tread diameter.
centrifugal force seems to keep them clean (ish).
B&B yours would run much better if you could give them some clearance by stepping them back a bit, the best part of 20 years of experience with them has shown that most of the Otico wheels run much better if there're no scrapers or framework anywhere near them.

The drill - I bought it off @RobhSold what
It's invaluable really - it's really handy for spotting blockages on the following harrow. As an aside, good idea putting a camera on the back to keep an eye on press wheel blockages.
