Been looking at contracts for Cordiale next year, and surprised how wildly different prices exist between merchants. Some are over a fiver apart for the same deal. £130 for Nov 13 plus a good min price deal should make wheat pay ok.

I'm not sure why the export market has been so keen around here recently. That was up £20 in the last month. I sold some at that!

There's a lot of malting barley grown in Wilts/Hants/Dorset but no major maltsters. My main market is export from the South Coast. It's only in years of poor East Anglian crops like 2011 that many trucks turn up around here for hauling to the likes of Muntons, Crisp, Boormalt etc.

No idea. Somewhere in Europe via Bartholomews. Barts also have smaller boats going out of Shoreham around the same time & Wessex Grain quoted me the same £140/t yesterday so it would be coasters from Poole with them.
