Yes, we were. Went for the Topcon X30 screen etc. and are just trying to get to grips with it!
Unsure of what level of accuracy to go for so I think this autumn will be basic egnos and we will go from there as we learn.

Was it a complicated process to apply etc to get it? Want to use gps for mapping where mucks been spread etc so hoping they'll do it again
Our land agent did it for us as they have a high success rate and we wanted to make sure we got the grant. I think there will be more grant funding. Do your research now to find out which GPS equipment you want and apply early if there is another round of funding.

I applied myself and was successful in round 3. Got top con rtk system for mf 7620. Form took a while and to do to make sure got all info correct. Several times thought is it worth it for time it was taking or can see why people employ agents to fill it in. Glad perciverd now it's on tractor and in use.

Just wondering, once you have purchased your grant eligible items, I assume you send off a copy of the invoice for the item and is there anything else you need to do to prove you have purchased the agreed item? We are eligible for several different things, GPS included, as well as livestock related items. Many thanks

Need to get approval (of grant application) before any purchase. Then buy it and send invoices and photo evidence of equipment including serial numbers and keep an asset register of it for 5 years.
