I'm sick of getting wet all the time and don't really want to change the tractor as its been here since new!

Just looking for a cab to fit the old 4/65. Doesn't need to be too pretty, but needs to keep (some of) the rain out.

Thanks

leyland cab and mudguards, should take less than a day, after all they r the same platform.

unless u r thinking of something that would suit the time they were made.

That's what I thought last time, but the Leyland is longer than the 4/65 so it was a difficult job to get the cab on and still be able to open the bonnet.

Ours came new with a Lambourne cab. It was only a simple thing with flimsy angle and a canvas cover, if I remember rightly. Our driver at the time came in one day with blood pouring from his head and announced that he had taken the cab off mowing under an oak tree- "I wondered why they always left that bit!". The tractor wasn't damaged so we just ditched the cab and it has had a roll bar ever since. You can see from the rub marks that the windscreen was just in front of the instrument binnacle (?) so the bonnet could still open sideways.I think it had a big flap of rubber to fill the gap under the windscreen.
