Massey 6290 stanadyne injector pump

I have a fuel injection workshop , power problems with the Delphi pump on the 6290 can be fixed with some parts from another model of pump we have done a few with the modifications and results have been good .
The stanadyne pump can be fitted but new injection pipes are needed too which is a bit of hassle.
Wouldn't recommend as much power as this 6290 we were testing .

@Wellytrack can you fit a Bosch pump as is fitted to the Perkins phaser engines, that would be a nice replacement for the vp44


Something like them, might even get away with same injector lines!

Officially no- the lines wont reach, but unofficially- you can massage them abit and they will.

prob just old stock, i suppose if you dont trade in them there kind of worth what someone will pay, cant be much demand for em 🤷‍♂️

need to find someone with a perkins phaser engine with a ve pump and get the numbers...

anyone with a fastract 155 fancy having a look at their pump (y)
