Hi Speed Star

How did you far out with the G & H hose problems ?

They told us we had bought the wrong hose for our job , but they have send me a length of H/D hose to try and see what I think ,it only come the other day so have not used it yet, the guy came out from G and H and we talked about the hose and samples were sent back ,a nice guy but that was his job , time will tell if this new hose is any better then it will be the hard part doing a deal to get some more

Pumping mainly thought green g and h 5 inch. What sort of pressure is ok for pump to be at please. Tramspread use a lot of the green so can’t be to bad can it?

Still using it?

@mtx.jag what hose is lasting well with you?
Still got a pile of 4.5” snaptight
Running mostly Oraflex now though.
It’s not as tough as snaptight but a hell of a lot easier to handle on a daily basis
Yes we should be on 5” pipe but the jobs we do,at the moment what we run suits 👍

I have one length of 4” blue snaptite and I hate it with a passion,the rest is black hilcoflex but a fair age,don’t want to buy hilcoflex and find it’s gone to shît.

Is your oroflex “20” like this?

The snaptight never wants to go on the reeler tight
Yes thats the oraflex we have,only got 1000m of it but use it daily
Most weeks we do million gallons a week.

What are you going to do when you have NVZ to work with ?
If you have 80 million gallons in stores to spread when the season opens ,plus what people store already, that's a big ask to do in few weeks before silage time starts ?

3 month closed period from October to January . Will give us 3 to 4 months to apply slurry for first cut depending on there cutting date.
