Shotgun cartridge reloading

You still need a specific licence to purchase & store black powder, but not for modern nitro powder. Reloading shotgun cartridges not really worth it apart from speciality loads or black powder only guns ( or old muzzle loaders, which is a whole extra entertainment level getting it to work especially in the rain).
Reloading centrefire rifle ammunition can be cheaper (& is probably more accurate), but needs a careful discipline in getting it right & safe.

loaded up with rock salt, and a light charge of powder.

that stopped a local over sexed dog, from appearing here, every time our bitch was in heat.

dog was infamous for sniffing out bitches on heat, in a large area, dog still carried on, only just not here, ;) :)
