Drove through a ford today and got wet feet in my 2016 Toyota Hilux. It's done 172,000 miles and does look like it. The problem is it runs fine and is to a reasonable specific, I bought it new for £27,000 as an end of line model. It is though getting tired and worried its going to get a big repair bill and plus now its not waterproof.

Time to change it?

Keep her going, doesn’t sound like trade will offer you much if you open doors to puddles.

I'll see where the leak is coming from, it came from behind the accelerator, the car has been smelling a bit damp this winter and think I worked out why. The carpet is always wet.

There is a 2018 Hilux with 74,000 miles for £19,000 from the dealer, don't think they'd take mine isn't much use other than export

Saw a post on fb of a guy looking at selling his hilux, paid £32k for it 9 months ago, went back to the dealers, £19k is all they’d offer him, prices definitely coming down.
