Sounds extremely slow and expensive on fuel. 2.5ltrs per 1000 gallon, that’s about £1.90 per 1000 gallons, that’s 4.5 m/3.
The reason why the genset is plenty big enough is because I brought it as a back up for the farm, and it’ll be big enough for a row of Seperator’s, the only thing I need now is more Seperator’s but I didn’t want to buy more till I was convinced they were good enoughThe genset is clearly oversized so very inefficient for the load, easy to fix with a different genset or using a large battery with the genset changing the battery when needed.
If you set the weights at max I’d say so, want to try drying a few loads in the summer and storing it for the winter but need another shed for that to happen really. But from what I’ve seen of it drying out in the summer it would make brilliant beddingIs it coming out dry enough to use as green bedding and stop using sawdust?
Have you got a link to the separator?
I don’t think 1000ltrs of deisel to seperate 450000gal is expensive? And it’s all 3phase pumps a motors except the conveyor can u even get a battery to service all that ?The genset is clearly oversized so very inefficient for the load, easy to fix with a different genset or using a large battery with the genset changing the battery when needed.
Tbf the conveyor is the best bit, saves so much time of not reloading the stuffMount it all on a chassis with a few separators mounted to drop the solids all in the same place so you only need one conveyor, or maybe on a frame that lifts up with them all discharging to the same side & a fold out tray to push the solids out a bit & stack it up so no need for any conveyors & jobs a good un.
How is that trommell actually squeezing the liquid out?494 likes, 4 comments, Make better use of your slurry and lower your fertiliser costs #mst300 https://vm.tiktok.com/ZGeAfL1ea/
Some money that would be
It's draining the liquid but between the trommel and conveyor there are 2 rollers. How is that trommell actually squeezing the liquid out?
You require a minimum of 34% DM for green bedding, and it has to be used within 24 hours of being produced. Is it coming out dry enough to use as green bedding and stop using sawdust?
