KTwo gone bust?

A grain trailer would set you back £30k for an average to today’s spec. How any trailer manufacturer could go bust at their over inflated prices. They’ve really took the pee with Covid. Yes steel and running gear has went up but not to the extreme they charge for them.

Know of a haulier who was flat out taking trailers for a local company to England, he’s took one load this year just, and their books are empty for abroad too
I think you`ve answered your own question about how they could go bust...... If no one buys a product it`s not too difficult to see how they go t*ts up... Not sure what point you are making.
Those Stewart trailers aren`t £30k average according to this thread ( and I gather they aren`t a "budget" brand....) so are you SURE that is an average price...?

Trailer market is knackered. The perfect storm - too many manufacturers in a relatively small market that is shrinking due to imported food, highest interest rates for 20 years, materials at record levels, increased labour costs, increased energy costs to produce them and generally farmers having had enough of being shafted from every angle so are doing what the government want them to do which is be a parkland for birds and flowers.

The machinery market in general is in a huge mess. Lots of dealers will be disappearing replaced by nobody and you’ll deal direct with manufacturers or travel miles to your nearest dealer yard.

There's also the factor that, in my view, there's been a big push to upgrade trailers to air brakes etc. over the last decade, probably most people that were going to do that have done so, and good trailers should last a long time. Ergo the market is now mature and slowed down.

Thank you for all the comments regarding KTwo and Warwick Trailers - to summarize sadly the business is indeed in administration. We are doing our best to work out what the next steps are...
If you have a trailer on order your dealer will contact you once our administrators have been in touch.

This forum is probably not the right place to go into exactly what has or hasn't happened and how we have come to find ourselves in this situation.

My mobile number is 07860 174819 should anyone need to contact me with regards to KTwo

Kind regards

That doesn't sound too good, for the longterm

Very brave accusation to make on a public forum.
I have watched the pair of them at it I can assure you. It was the year that 6 months down the line there was an article on FW about Larringtons new design for his trailer that loaded artic bulkers with maize that were parked on hard surface. I did 😁
Didn’t Larrington bankrupt himself too as Fliegl were suing?
