Our youngest usually mows the lawn.
When I get the mower out for him and fill it with petrol there's always a pile of short sticks on the back, in front of the grass collector, which I assumed he had picked up as me mows the lawn. So I chuck them away.
I've just been informed that they are there to throw, to distract the colley from biting the mower wheels.

Proud dad week this week.
Number 1 son rode his horse at Ascot this week in a pony club race for the first time
And then today number 2 son had man of the match and the coach wrote this about him on the group wattsapp after:
Our star player was Ellis Beames, not because of his hatrick in our 3-2 win but his determination, desire, and attitude was as good as anything I’ve ever witnessed at any level of football.
