Vaderstad rapid as a cultivator

Apologies if it’s been discussed before (think it has but the search facility can’t find it) but as a disc machine in dry to moist conditions what do people think? Obviously if it’s wet then a tube is needed but as a chitting tool and potential cover crop seeder direct into stubble what do people think?
Been using a carrier and for us (not including this year as it’s so dry) it doesn’t move all the soil so the 4 rows of discs in a rapid should? And then it’s got a decent tyre packer to consolidate with the rear Harrow lifted up. I’m thinking of chopping our carrier in against a used one of similar value. I can’t see much point but we could take the hopper off to lighten it up and put on a stocks turbojet we’ve got sat in the workshop doing nothing.

Use ours for cover crops straight into stubble between the rows, works well and will drill into anything. As a chitting tool it would work though there's probably a cheaper tool to run. Could drop the following Harrow right down and run with discs out as a sort of straw rake

What do you think would be cheaper? Two rows of small discs like on a carrier don’t do enough and a carrier now is very expensive to buy where as used rapid look value to me. I’m talking about something around the £15k mark.
