New Vets needed Wiltshire (Sailsbury)

Hi all recently heard my vets Endell are entering administration and closing down, can’t say I’m surprised with recent quality of work. But I am looking for good vets with beef in the area. Our farm hasn’t changed vets in generations, so looking for input on other local vets before we make the move.

What side of Salisbury? Wyvern in Frome go a fair way up the Wylye Valley. They have just restructured to keep farm vets non corporate.

What about The George Veterinary Group? Cover your area. Sorry no experience on beef but used to have them for pigs.

The large animal side of Endells are going out on their own, independent on the corporate that own the small animal side currently. I don’t believe you have it quite correct above

They have shut my local branch, near Alresford. Simply due to bad management as far as I can see.
I’m off to the Livestock Partnership now. They have a good reputation in Sussex & Hampshire.

Synergy are good. Had dealings with them when I worked in Dorset

I'm rolling in it --- £££
Synergy are my consultant vets ---1/4ly visits and advice via phone/email on a regular basis
Wyvern are closer (and i've worked with them for over 30 years) so are there for emergency if i ever need it
Both excellent vets

Grandfather started with them in the Stephen’s days, I guess back in the 1930s. There must be a few other clients who have done the same.
The new business setup seems to be working really well.
