Yeap. The budget done for the bank is a fantastic work of pure fiction now. I thought it was conservative at the time ☹️
its just farming, nothing but a big gamble, or fight against the weather.

its just a pity we now have interfering environmental zealots, and a clueless load of politicians, to work around, as well as the bloody weather.

on the plus side, no spring flush, will put pressure on pricing, upwards. Perhaps a shite summer, weather wise, might push prices well up, it would be great to have processors fighting each other, to secure the quantities they need.

l think l would take a 'nice' summer, rather than a wet one, seen enough rain already this year.

Is a conversation with the bank such a terrible thing? Isn't it a good idea to keep in communication with them? Sorry, I forgot, everyone on here is a genius who NEVER needs to borrow money.
I owe a fortune but the bank leaves me alone,I just want to get my head down a pay it off as quickly as possible,if I’d have had my mortgage with the AMC I wouldn’t have ever met a bank manager.

Me too, well mostly. You're not normal though, that's a compliment btw. However writing someone off as unstable because they've got a cashflow problem, the magnitude of which we know nothing,is absurd.
Hc’s post said “Well established” doesn’t mean they’re well run though, lots of well established farms are unstable.
