I don't think the scammers can steal negative money off of you.

No, but they can take your business name and sort code straight off that, granted the account number won't be for the current account but I certainly wouldn't be handing it out for all and sundry to see! It doesn't take long to build a complete picture up of someone's life with posts like that and you absolutely will end up being targeted.

Why on earth would you put all that information out on the Internet for everyone to see..?
Why not? I'm proud ive paid off a whacking great load of money, spent the past 3 years moaning that I'm not enjoying it and don't feel like I'm getting anywhere

Finally turned a corner I think, genuinely enjoying it, catching up on the work load and can see a light at the end of what has felt like a very long tunnel!

Well done @Jdunn55
Recently we finished a 10 yr land loan and next month we will finish paying for last yrs solar project.
these things mean very little to anyone else. But if you don’t celebrate the little wins what’s the point!
Well done @Jdunn55. It’s important to celebrate the milestones or else you forget that your exactly where you planned to be because your chasing the next project.
Thanks, completely agree, don't feel like you're making progress otherwise!

Looking forward to January

My hp finishes in September which gives me £1200 a month extra and then my heifer loan finishes in December which is another £800

Can't wait!

Well done, great achievement. We managed to get to 9 months debt free, lovely feeling especially when we received interest on savings! Then the farm next door came up for sale and I won’t be haveing that feeling for many years if not ever again 🫣😫

That's the dream, don't want to owe a penny to anyone

Land is another ball game though, can't see a way to buy it without a mortgage tbh

set yourself up a little reserve account and keep paying into it. It can be brought back in for leaner times but in better times you can start to build an emergency buffer then.

But your business name, sort code and account number are on every invoice you ever send out? Why should they be kept hidden?

Just to 2nd what Headless said but I'd get a standing order set up and just have the money taken automatically and it's done. Couple hundred each or whatever you can do flying into a savings account soon adds up and as a tenant you'll always need an exit plan.

Virgin are doing 10% savings upto a £1000. That could be an easy £100 if you can max it straight away
