    Drones

I recommend they get a gps tracker locator for their dog as I have recently eg from tractive. Assuming they have a smart phone they are incredibly useful and give great peace of mind, not sure a drone would always do the job.

Is your farm clean and tidy?

Women like a well kept farm, no good if that haystack is covered in plastic n rubbish all round it!

Is your farm clean and tidy?

Well there you go then if you can't find a tool you are wasting time finding tools and aren't being productive your argument falls flat on its face.

Is your farm clean and tidy?

I beg to differ you may not make money per se (unless you are selling scrap perhaps) but having everything organized ie useful stuff where you can find it, scrap out the way so it doesn't get in the way later on, all the little jobs that save you time later on mean less time wasted later on and...

Is your farm clean and tidy?

Just wondered on the state of peoples farms, personally I strongly dislike a messy farm with junk and rubbish getting in the way but not everyone feels as strongly as me it seems unfortunately. Its improving but not its not as good as I would like. How about your farm?

Unprecedented for the UK to have lots of rainy days for months on end? I don't think so.

    Ban Non stun slaughter

Perhaps you read to much into things? I mean it would be nicer from the lambs perspective wouldn't it if they didn't go to slaughter. Myself I love a lamb doner and roast lamb but I don't eat the meat very often (and if I can't be guaranteed how the animal was killed perhaps I'll eat it even...

    Ban Non stun slaughter

Unlikely and humans are naturally omnivores anyway

    Ban Non stun slaughter

Its quite simple really theres no need to bring religion into it or make things complicated or bring other matters or topics into the discussion. I mean its obviously less barbaric to have an animal die without any knowledge of the matter and not feel the pain rather than simply slitting its...

    Clarkson again

Its funny! Its funny seeing city people who haven't got an effing clue how to farm or what farming entails mess things up! Watching them run around like headless chickens when the livestock get out. And also for them and others to be understand just how hard the job can be sometimes. Sure...

    Ban Non stun slaughter

So you'd rather an animal didn't have a painless death instead was in pure agony for several minutes at the abattoir did you? Well each to their own, but the point is that non muslims and non jews should be able to choose halal and kosher free meat whenever they eat, in a modern society. I...

    Ban Non stun slaughter

Thats a misleading and weird couple of statements. As far as I'm aware neither option 1 or 2 is even a real thing. And yes animals/ people are conscious after having their throats slit. I've seen lambs bleating their lil hearts out after having their throats slit in halal slaughter houses, its...

    Sheperds hut

Perhaps I could petition the government for a new rail line from Gatwick down to Devon so people can travel seamlessly from the airport to my Shepherds hut? There are pubs in walking distance (2 miles) so that shouldn't be a problem :) Nearest bus top also 2 miles.

    Selling meat at farm gate

1/6th of a pig is still bulk buying if I have 5 pigs I have 20 orders to fulfil if I sell as quarters, if I sell in 1/6ths that means I need to find 30 customers that's definitely more work, more packaging, more transport, liaising etc. Also in a climate of increasing food insecurity and rising...

    Selling meat at farm gate

Its an option (but I don't think it would make much difference and only adds further complexity and work to what I am doing) the other option would be for people to start owning chest freezers again and stop with the 'just in time' type approach to food
