It’s a really nice gun, just the right size for ratting especially if you’re shooting free hand. The weight is between your arms and close to the body which helps massively.

Can’t say I’ve found the weight to be an issue but I’ll generally be shooting from a bipod or quad sticks. If you’ve not got some quad sticks they’re a must for out in the field. Take a little bit of getting use to but they’re super stable. I got a used set for 40 quid, worth every penny.

No experience with the Arken but the the Alpex if a top bit of kit, however I acutely use a pard nv007lrf on my hmr as I still prefer a Standard scope for daytime and I can swap the pard between rifles in about 20 seconds. Honestly though I don’t think they make a bad night scope now. When...

Nissan Navara, been saying there’s something wrong with it for ages as kept blocking the dpf and going into limp mode. Apparently it’s low on compression and oils getting into the exhaust system and blocking everything up! Rental (curtesy on Nissan EU) is a Seat Ateca, pretty nippy little thing...

Picked this up today due to the fact the pickup went in for a service and apparently needs a new engine! Not good @ 60k miles 🤷🏻‍♂️. Thankfully still under warranty but could be there for a few months as there’s 5 more to do before mine 🤦🏻‍♂️.
