Hi Guys
Feed In Tariff from May 1st will remain unchanged up to 50KWp however there is a small movement for the higher bands
50KWp - 150KWP 11.50 - 11.10
150KWp -250KWp 11.0 - 10.62
250 + 7.1 - 6.85
Export Tariff 4.64
I'm assuming that May 1st to July 1st is a mistake and it should be August 1st - but the introduction to the new tariffs states 1st May to 30th June - if I find out why I'll post later
You can get all the details in the attached pdf
Just thought I'd add an addendum to this post. For installations over 50KWp you can apply to Ofgem to get pre accreditation and lock in the current Feed In Tariff for 6 months. You must however have a DNO Connection Agreement in place and Planning Permission. You can make this application through the Roof Fit website (you need to register first).
Where DNO issues are holding up installations (on 50KWp and less) it may be possible in agreement with your FIT's provider and DNO to commission and then immediately decommission after safety testing but still allowing an MCS Certificate to be issued and added to the database before the FIT Reduction.
We recently got such an agreement with British Gas on a 50KWp system where the DNO has given us a 12 - 14 week lead time for a transformer upgrade - With no change to the tariff we are safe anyway but it's good to know there are potential options.
As an update to the above it seems 30th June is not a mistake!!
