Saw my first pair this morning on a field of wheat.
Yep, only heard a cuckoo once last year, nothing this year so far.Still not here yet but i heard a Cuckoo yesterday . They are getting rare round here,did not hear one last year.

hope they don't fail for you! piled in here the last 2 day's been at my mate's 6 mile's away a fortnight.Still none for me , I'm beginning to think that they may have crossed me off their list . Never failed yet so I suppose there's still time , but I wish they'd hurry up !

A friend less than three miles away had his swallows turn up a fortnight before ours did; it must be down to either taking different routes or starting from different places. People on here far North of us had their swallows come well before ours too.hope they don't fail for you! piled in here the last 2 day's been at my mate's 6 mile's away a fortnight.
