As above is it too late for spring wheat?

Planting this week. A few years ago I put it in last week in april and it was fine. Yielded about 2.5t/ac but made full spec group 1 with 180kg N.
As soon as you can see it up in the row put on 50% of the N and then the remaining 50% 4 weeks later.
Store it separate from your winter wheat though as it will probably get ergot.
And its a paid to thrash in the combine so you'll need to desiccate it.
