One day my friend, we shall meet and I look forward to you having that conversation with her!It must give your lovely lady deep joy to not have a view of her getting sunburnt on the back of your planter.
On average she is being kept very well.
I guess sois it because you use lightweight equipment that your soils are in better condition?
I am afraid that big tractors do spoil soil structure and so on.I guess so
Patience too? Never rush and "push" the land.
Ditches done on 5 yr rotation (digger man coming tomorrow actually). drains all run, (though suspect one blockage so looking at that too)
A couple of Neighbours were going too, but not all of them . Land no different to ours really. But big, heavy, power harrow drill combo on about 250hp. They will do a hell of a lot more area in a day than us though.
We just keep plodding on, on our little bit, in our own way. Never fashionable, never cutting edge, just us doing our thing.
Does your neighbour's land yield more than your land @carbonfibre farmer ?I guess so

I was studying one of your photos last week in the wet bits of the field and the first thought than came to my head was that there was a lot of tractor to wash after!!!!Wash day .View attachment 1172387
