No. I‘m saying that the strong impression I’m left with is that it wasn’t RT who had instructed him to fail a certain percentage instead of just those who hadn’t attained the correct standards and that this examiner took it upon himself.Sorry, to be clear, are you saying he should lose his job because he’s been "stupid" enough to admit to you the instructions he’s been given by those above? But has been decent enough to warn you how it works? You still seem to be playing the man.
You’d rather have an inspector who will try to fail you but won’t tell you why he’s trying to fail you? You’d rather not know?
We all know that if they look deep enough they could probably find something that might not 100% conform.
From what I gathered from my (senior) examiner is that it certainly isn’t RT’s policy to have a target %age they will pass or fail.
One would think that with the scheme having been around for many years, the pass rate would be going up and that there are less non-conformances.
It’s not up to me if the guy loses his job.
The time when he was shown on Clarkson’s Farm was before he made his admission at our NRoSO meeting.
However, I’m not going to allow him on this farm.
But, unless some action has been taken to at least rectify his stance and he has been spoken to by the senior examiners and been instructed to examine more fairly, it is RT who then become more at fault and in disrepute.
