FETF Fixed handling system

Can anyone clarify for me, to be eligible does it have to be a stand alone system, can you use an existing piece of wall for example or a post that’s already there to attach a gate to. I’m getting conflicting views from the manufacturers of such systems but I haven’t contacted RPA for their opinion yet
