Borrowed a Garmin watch. How many steps does/should an average person take?
19000 per day average here

Loads. Watch doesn’t recognise when I’m in the buggy. Officially never been so active.

I bought a garmin to see how many I do fencing, I only average 16,000 a day! I was disappointed but it doesn’t count all steps while I’m post knocking as I wear on my left wrist which holds the controls while I walk behind
I go by calories burnt instead, I usually burn an extra 1000 calories a day fencing

My body tells me 50,000-70,000 a day, but I believe it as much as a garmin watch
