I was just working out how much my reco sulky drill had cost me over the last 27 years. Paid £5400 and it has done 4050 acres(plus) so are currently at £1.33 acre. As I hope for my son and I to get another 27 years out of it we should get it down to low pence per acre!
Makes me laugh to remember a neighbour offering to drill my grain for me back then as in his words 'You will not be able to justify another drill will you'
