What happens next week will be interesting. Not going to fully recover but my cows have gone up 10% over the last 7 days with better quality grass and a bit of sunshine.
How much would people expect butterfat to drop when been out at grass for about a month?

Mines gone down .5 but we're grazing fairly long grass as couldn't get cows out with the wet weather. So it could be fibrous stuff

Ours doesn’t drop much initially but will be 0.6 down when we hit the second round mid April. It’s averaging around 4.3 at the moment from 4.9 on the first round.
We were averaging 4.9 and it went down to 3.04. what's the chance of a faulty test?

How many have been like that, one off or several?
If the one before was fine wait until the next one comes back and then assuming that comes back OK, wait for half a dozen more then again assuming they come back OK I would be asking the dairy to not include the dodgy sample in my payment

4.33fat 3.44prot,makes no difference it’s a white water contract and I’ve no market related litres.

I was meaning what was your price, wrongly assuming you had a mix of A & B litres. 36.7ppl here, 1/4 of my litres were -19.45p with seasonality though, it seems to of knocked around 4.5p off overall.
