So this is Labours idea? Do we like it? Or not?

Isn't that what you want?

Leftists slag off populism as if it's some kind of bad thing. They would much rather do whatever they think is right and never mind those idiots in the real world that will suffer the consequences...

Saying things people want to hear is easy, if you never have to follow through on it. That's where populist govts generally fall down, if enough of the electorate are ever convinced enough to vote for them.

Boris was great at soundbites and saying what he thought people wanted to hear. How many of his promises from 2019 have been carried out well? He led us down the road towards all this ELMS nonsense, not Labour. He never even managed to produce his 'oven ready deal' either, just a mess of a Brexit that has had to have been rejigged already, and likely will again. Immigration is at record levels, even though he was going to curb it (and isn't that what all those Leave voters wanted?).

Talk is cheap.

Of course it's an endemic problem with politicians and I believe there should be laws to hold them to their word, but what are you going to do in the mean time? Vote for the same old mince? No, you vote according to your political belief.

I think tactical voting is a betrayal of democracy and has let this country down for a very long time. First past the post has to go. Not like your local MP listens to you anyway.

Shocked that you are prepared to vote & not know who you are voting for, just a list from a political party.

Pr ends up being run by a committee of group thinkers that cannot decide or do any thing

the eu group think was keep having referenda untill you get the right answer

pr gave ukip a platform and lots of meps and gave us a brexit referendum that no party would rerun
