In Black and White and Red all over, this debate is going no where as you are unwilling to widen the scope of your research. If you want to believe that there is a hidden subsidy then that is up to you, I can assure you though you are very much mistaken. It seems strange to be in denial the way you are. There it is in black and white but you still revert back to the same old story. I’m not sure how long you think you can keep stuffing the U.K. farmer with this old tale.
Remember your farm subsidy doesn’t need to be a direct payment money shovelled into the NZ farming sector still subsidises your farming business.
Im sure you will be aware that for you to be a ‘prime’ exporter as you are means that you can’t be seen to receive direct payments as it would restrict trade but you do receive subsidies in the agricultural chain all the same wether that be environmental or infrastructure or whatever else it may be.
I think any U.K. farmer producing lamb and mutton has performed exceptionally well against your heavily subsidised New Zealand lamb coming into this country in abundance. We have all done very well to produce a more superior product that commands a higher price up to double the price in richer parts of the world for U.K. lamb
I think you have still a lot to learn from U.K. farmers with breeding and production but I’m not thinking you are keeping up. The customer is always right
You are correct that the customer is always right, that's why NZ produce commands a premium in the high paying Asian markets.
