It seems strange to be in denial the way you are. There it is in black and white but you still revert back to the same old story. I’m not sure how long you think you can keep stuffing the U.K. farmer with this old tale.
Remember your farm subsidy doesn’t need to be a direct payment money shovelled into the NZ farming sector still subsidises your farming business.
Im sure you will be aware that for you to be a ‘prime’ exporter as you are means that you can’t be seen to receive direct payments as it would restrict trade but you do receive subsidies in the agricultural chain all the same wether that be environmental or infrastructure or whatever else it may be.
I think any U.K. farmer producing lamb and mutton has performed exceptionally well against your heavily subsidised New Zealand lamb coming into this country in abundance. We have all done very well to produce a more superior product that commands a higher price up to double the price in richer parts of the world for U.K. lamb
I think you have still a lot to learn from U.K. farmers with breeding and production but I’m not thinking you are keeping up. The customer is always right
In Black and White and Red all over, this debate is going no where as you are unwilling to widen the scope of your research. If you want to believe that there is a hidden subsidy then that is up to you, I can assure you though you are very much mistaken.

You are correct that the customer is always right, that's why NZ produce commands a premium in the high paying Asian markets.

Holiday lets should be paying business rates not council tax, they increase sales for local tourism businesses far more than a normal house owner does, without tourism places like Cornwall and even the likes of Bournemouth would be far poorer areas, we had a weekend away in Torquay in march as part of a group of 120, the town was very quiet and I doubt much employment would exist without tourism pounds being moved through the local economy.
Second homes don't increase housing shortage it's the lack of building new homes that does that and it's the local resident population that tries to stop new building.
And Airbnb use domestic home evade all?

Our lamb is consistently better and sold up to double the price without your export subsidies
Have you claimed any money off your SFF?
My auntie gives me the information about this. In a way I think there’s odd bits and pieces that our government here has tried to replicate with this I can see similarities

He must be on something. Or at least his Auntie is, maybe they've found Te Puke thunder.
There's millions of dollars up for grabs!

I have found one way to access some, I get a trip to Mangaroa at the end of the month for facilitator training. The group has been able to get quite a bit of funding, which is conditional on getting the numbers to attend. That's harder than you'd think.

I appreciate the point you make with this picture, but unlike the great Faces album, « Every picture tells a story », it doesn’t… there are probably more cars on 1 mile of the M25 than the whole of the Sahara desert and Greenland put together
Now now , no need to refer to the mobile car park!!!😆😆😆

Nothing much is sweeter than that 🙂 still get a kick out of growing veg and meat for my people.

One thing I don't worry about anymore are potatoes, Dad used to have half the garden in spuds but it seems like such a waste of space when you could grow more "expensive" bits and pieces instead.
As it turns out most of the crew would rather not have spuds and eat more meat which is fine by me, the more they eat the more meat I get to cut up
Quite partial to 3 potato and 3 beef for dinner!!!😉👌👍
