So you think it's appropriate when the war is going badly for Ukraine & many thousands are being killed & injured for Blinken to be seen up on stage having the time of his life, it just shows how seriously he is taking it, it just might be yourself in need of a therapist if you do, it seems that very many in Ukraine don't!

A year or so before covid I went on a jolly at a serving friend's invitation to a training camp in Southern England. Had a go with the latest small arms of our own and closest allies, and also with a selection of others; the Jap's 89 was alright as was the K2 and the Finnish RK and some others from elsewhere.

And then I was introduced to the North Korean's weapon, which was (is still?) a knock-off of a Chinese knock-off of a Kalashnikov - it was almost unbelievably bad.

Subsequent to that I've chatted with some South Koreans on a US military forum and they reckon that its p!ss-poor quality extrapolates across pretty much all North materiel. They have regular int' showing vehicles abandoned by roads, on fire, crashed etc. etc..

One North Korean exercise near the DMZ was watched by South Korean aerial spotters in real time. Every second armoured vehicle was immobile. Loads of the trucks were abandoned and, again, lots had overheated and or caught fire.

The South Koreans greatest concern is escalation; they aren't worried about generalities since they are superior to the North across the board, and they have excellent logistics and expect mass-desertions from the North . They just worry that the fat nutter up North won't accept being beaten and will do something stupid before his saner generals top him - which they think likely.
