An unremarkable event for some on here no doubt, but we had our first cruise ship anchor in the bay this morning. The size of the Seabourn venture is unreal, the photos don't do it any justice. It has two submarines on board. I brought the young lad, 6, back the road to have a look and we managed to get a spin out around the ship and onto one of the local islands for free, so thanks to Damien at Roundstone Bay and Island food tours (y)
Met two bus loads of passengers in the village. They reminded me of a school tour for rich people, all wearing matching jackets and someone holding a clipboard shouting at them

Yes.
In fact in the 2 hours or so we were there, there was a group of about 15 playing Escape and a similar group wanting to experience prison life included being shouted at.
Plus a film crew was setting up and a paranormal / physic group had book C block to chase ghosts (cell 3 has a grey lady, cell 10 a violent man and the stairs a crying boy.

The Sean Bean drama Time was filmed there (his cell left as per the TV recording) and there was a recent celebrity thing - Banged Up: Stars behind Bars on Ch4 - with Sid Owen (Eastenders), the tractor porn MP and a few others put in with ex cons.

Take the guided tour. Best £19 (OAP rate) you'll spend in a long time
