When was the last settled spell ?

we had a nice couple of days away on Dartmoor in early September for my 60th birthday. I also received a gliding lesson as a present but they have been waiting since last June and they have provisionally booked me in for May 25th so fingers crossed. :)

It’s just cyclical weather patterns. Think El Niño is flipping to La Niña so patterns will change again for the coming year. A dramatic rise in Caribbean area hurricanes is forecast for the coming season. When they hit it will be blamed on climate change. The reality is meteorologists are already observing the change in global cyclical weather patterns and this will be the underlying reason.

Has hardly rained here for a week, that’s settled by our standards 😂

I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of the increased cloud cover further south is linked to the Hunga Tonga eruption in 2022
