i think ours was the only one i remember, new holland clayson or claas were more popular, but thats going back a while, dad last grew barley in 1985

Dania's were popular here, and there still are a few earning their keep. My D 950 still cuts between 30-40 acres / year with very little trouble.

That's a secondary cleaner on the side, so the awns and fine weed seeds go into the bag behind the driver, and the rear bag collects the lights which the fan takes out of the sample before it reaches the tank. This also helps the bushel weight, and leaves a very clean sample of grain.

Only in so far it chucks it on the floor, it should be brought back into fashion, just have a second tank and remember which one you are emptying where!

Most new combines do This, ( not sure whether any of the new Massey's still use the same system as the Dania's.Massey took over the Dania brand.) That is why they seem to put a lot over the back, all the lights go that way, and most of them will grow.

No the Dania and laverda combines both could have a secondary cleaner fitted
They both gave a terrific sample
I have not seen any other make with such an option

Don't think it was an option on the Dania's, think it was standard, as I 've never seen one without it. I agree 100% that you won't get a better sample.

Haven't needed many bits for her, but I re- covered a knife with new sections a couple of years ago and had no problem getting them. It has been the same with anything I've needed. I remember getting parts for a D1200 from McCreedys, years ago, but its surprising what you can still get through Allan Milne's .

on second thoughts, i went to Scotland for a grain cleaner, so i suppose that evens things out.

When my mate put his on e-bayin mid august he did not have much go on it, I put the link on here and it sold in a couple of days, moreover one guy came down to see as a collector and thought it was not good enough, one of the WAC students had reversed the back end into a wall at some point. That collector was sent to another Dania in the area which he bought, and came to collect with his 50k Fendt from North Wales
