They were very popular around here at one time, in the early 70's I bet I could name 10 farms that had one, frams which today don't even grow corn. I blame Emlyn Green's as the salesman.

i think ours was the only one i remember, new holland clayson or claas were more popular, but thats going back a while, dad last grew barley in 1985

Most new combines do This, ( not sure whether any of the new Massey's still use the same system as the Dania's.Massey took over the Dania brand.) That is why they seem to put a lot over the back, all the lights go that way, and most of them will grow.

Hi, what about parts for the Dania, didnt Mc Creedys in Hillsborough do them, i wouldnt think Alan Miln "Cyril Johnstons" does parts for them now ? but i may well be wrong !

Haven't needed many bits for her, but I re- covered a knife with new sections a couple of years ago and had no problem getting them. It has been the same with anything I've needed. I remember getting parts for a D1200 from McCreedys, years ago, but its surprising what you can still get through Allan Milne's .

blimey, i can remember dad going to hillsbourough for parts now you mention it,but that was at least 25 years ago
blimey, last i heard pembrokeshire was in Scotland ??????????????
your dad came from Scotland to Hillsborough for Parts, must have been good parts, LOL.
on second thoughts, i went to Scotland for a grain cleaner, so i suppose that evens things out.
Active were very popular here to at a time but imo none produced a sample like a Dania.
Thats a real tidy combine and must be the cleanest in the world ! the cleanest between here and Scotland anyhow
and a credit to its owner ill bet it never sat out a night in its life.

When my mate put his on e-bayin mid august he did not have much go on it, I put the link on here and it sold in a couple of days, moreover one guy came down to see as a collector and thought it was not good enough, one of the WAC students had reversed the back end into a wall at some point. That collector was sent to another Dania in the area which he bought, and came to collect with his 50k Fendt from North Wales
