This was just opposite Chester cattle market on "Cow Lane bridge"
Nah they were knocking it down to build the inner ring road ,Wrights moved to the new council market down sealand rd in 1972,supposed to be being all under one roof and its fancy glass fronted offices and café a market for years to come ,it lasted about 35 before it shut for everdid the roof fall in? lol

Bath had a small market on a Wednesday every week in Walcot street that is now a hotel with multi storey car park underneath.
Chippenham was one of the biggest one day markets in its day that is now houses.
