WHOOPS seems Yorkshire disease has struck in Shropshire:ROFLMAO:

Ivor, the 4240 is a recent purchase, bought for investment purposes if you are talking to my wife, other than that bought for playing on :) will put some pics up soon, need a dry day or 2 to get into the fields to get some good shots

Daniel, post the photo's of your ploughing, we won't be too harsh:devil:

certainly an investment Roy. Talking to the wife or not.
You very nearly didn't get that. Fantastic purchase, and looking forward to them pics.
ps, don't worry about the hfwd, no matter what you hear.

This ties in with what I do on YLs. I plough 10" and my final split after the chip is 24"-25". Because I run 10" rear tyres I run my plough 1" wider than normal when doing my crown , drive 1-2" off the furrow wall to compensate and find that on medium land the front furrow just fits nicely into my wheeling against the chip and the butts up to my previous furrow on the return.

I think possibly your sons problem is he is being coached by you :ROFLMAO:, Maybe Mr Vickers senior ought to take over your position;)
I have photo-shopped the furrows to the side of the Cropmaster there to try and make them match but to no avail, photo shop is good, but not that good :p:D:ROFLMAO::banghead:
