We now have a Hindu PM of Indian descent, the Lord Mayor of London is Muslim of Pakistani descent, the Lord Mayor of Cardiff is a Bangladeshi Muslim, the First Minister of Scotland is a Muslim of Pakistani descent and in Wales, we now have a corrupt First Minister who was born in Zambia. . . . . Don't you just love inclusivity 😉

As slippery as a colony of eels on melting ice. I wouldn’t trust him as far as I could kick an anvil up Snowdon with both my legs tied together in a Hessian sack.

His career so far is a litany of mediocrity and abject failure, so he should be ideally suited for being the next slapstick ringmaster of the Cardiff Bay circus. £200,000 says he is as bent as a nylon rope.

I thought that was the other guy?!
Ah, yes: perhaps not the most apt term to use when the other candidate is allegedly known to ‘bat for the other side’ as it were.

Anyway Gething is a decidedly dodgy character, and whatever may be his cricketing abilities I certainly wouldn’t want him batting for my side in any way shape or form. An absolute shocker of the first order!

I'm expecting nothing spectacular from him, more of the same we've come accustomed too . 🙄

WTF … common sense from Labour?

Ken Skates to only apply 20mph around schools, hospitals and playgrounds?

Except, of course, cyclists say No

Election coming up....... ?

Even the Labour heartlands hacked off with Drakeford's edict, threatening Seats in the Senedd focusing minds??

I hope they haven't scrapped all those 30 signs they took down.

What's the betting there'll be another £30m needed to put the balls up right?

I'd say it's a pretty safe bet that they've already been recycled into baked bean cans, so once they've manufactured a bunch of new ones what was a £30mn debacle will become a £60mn debacle.
I distinctly Drakeford justifying the 20 mph speed limit by saying it would save the NHS in Wales "60 million over 10 years". Looks as if that 60 mill won't get near the
NHS.

She who organises tour schedules has suggested a trip to Wales in May because apparently I need a break and a change of scenery.
I have explained to her the confusing Welsh government anti motorist policies and that she will have to drive and she should expect a blizzard of speeding fines.
Suddenly she finds Derbyshire more attractive so I will be spending my hard earned cash there.
