    Are you voting today?

Having met both the main party candidates for PCC I will definitely go and vote. So many people in the world either don't get a vote, or it is rigged, or only one candidate, I am privileged to have the option Earlier generations fought for the right to vote and I am going to use it.

    Groundswell a bit pricey?

Can't afford to go to Groundswell.... I've got a new plough to pay for......... If you look to the left of the oak tree in the distance you will see my DD plot, to the right of the tree (the green bit) is the cultivated plot. The differance is stark. Yes I know I have been doing it all wrong...

Cat 765 vs 939 on 5m topdown traction.

You can't have traction without weight - end of. Most 936/939 have rear wheel weights for that reason.

    Liquid back to granular fertiliser?

Well you are obviously right and I am wrong.

    Liquid back to granular fertiliser?

Have you used an all bells and whistles spinner?

    Liquid back to granular fertiliser?

I would agree if it is properly tray tested and set up, and running on fairly smooth tramlines, on a calm day, UNLESS the sprayer is PWM or similar. The problem with liquid is that it is applied at 100%, 0% or 200% of intended rate on overlaps, unless individual nozzle RTK shutoff. Turn...

    Liquid back to granular fertiliser?

We have done exclusively liquid and exclusively solid. We now do a some of each. There are pros and cons to both. Scorch however has been bad this year. Sprayer travels better than tractor and spinner so we are favouring liquid NS early and then solid AN (or Urea) for the rest of the season. One...

The best farmers are not farming as we know it

Whichever part of the world you are in there will be big farms and small farms, and farms making good money and those that aren't. Considering our population and the size of our country we do bl00dy well to be 65% self sufficient. We will never be able to grow some of the food we eat as we do...

    SY Cheer Grp 1

Its going a bit like Cordiale, A group 1 that the millers wouldn't approve as such due to a bit of inconsistency perhaps. They want to buy group 1 at a group 2 price.

You mean cheaper to manage. Nothing difficult about the current varieties that a bit of teb or pyrac wont sort out surely. When teb goes I would agree with you. A bit more NUE wouldn't go amiss.

Neighbour has grown some for the past 2 years in a trial and commercially and was not particularly impressed.

    Back to 24m

We went from 24 to 36, and also from 3000l to 4000, 3 years ago. We have fields from 42 Ha to 3 Ha. I would say that the biggest contributor to increased output is a larger tank, not increased boom width. I would also say that our daily output actually has not increased that much, and is helped...

    R38 vs r42 speed difference

No because the rim size is not the same as the overall diameter. You really need to check the manufacturer's rolling circumference
