How do you find the back up for the 3 from the same dealer ?
We had Fendt MF from the same dealer yet the fendt had better back up

Always had good backup for all brands with them. But I did use to work with the service manager in my early days and he always pulled all the stops out to help us. He’s now retired and its definitely not the same.

Efficiency, straightforwardness and value...
If you used one you'd want one. The failure rate on them is under 2%, and I believe they're quicker and cheaper to repair than a powershift. Mine will be on the drill today at 100% engine load, SV1, DTM and just let the tractor get on with it, you'd love it on a baler.
Great, aren't they? Powershift is for the 20th century
Let's not forget that the 8s range got off to the worst possible start that was no fault of Agco because they were launched just as the world lost its collective minds with covid.

Feels like a seismic shift backwards getting on anything else is the main downside to a CVT..

Give it another 20 you'll probably be onto something else. It isn't 20yrs since you fell out with MF, might be 5
And a CVT wasn't available in an 8s for the first two years because of all the bother with Deutz engines in the Fendts
In what regard? Nothing simpler than push lever forward for faster back for slower
Less moving parts and far better reliability in a VT, particularly over about 180hp
Second hand VT's are cheaper than D6's usually.
If you were talking about a stick box dynashift, I might agree with you!

Should try driving a tractor with decent cvt gearbox.
Difference between NH autocommand and other brands is seismic also.

Well I’ve not experienced Dyna VT or fendt’s offering but how can they be massively better?
I have read on here that Dyna VT isn’t the best on transport work, and I’d love to try a fendt but there’s things like buttons to change range from field to road, and from stick to pedal mode, which aren’t in the new Holland and it seems far more intuitive for it??

How can you claim that because the 800 series had engine problems mf decided not to have a cvt 8s? Like to see you backup that statement with any factual evidence

Tell me why there were no long wheel base VT Massey's for the first two years of the 8s
It's no secret that Deutz engines lack the reliability of the SISU
Yes the 828 is the worst, but 724's aren't immune from engine failure. Spoils a good tractor in my opinion, certainly a major minus point to me buying one after tens of thousands of trouble free SISU hours of ownership.

Im not disputing the point about deutz engines, but why would mf put themselves out of potential sales because of that. Stands to sence most people pricing mf isnt going to buy fendt as theyr more money so if they were wanting a cvt the next most obvious choice is to go cnh. Seems like a crazy marketing choice to me
