Is does look a bit like Rhizoctonia root rot. As said it would be best to send a sample into BBRO.
Is it in patches or isolated plants?
Do you grow maize on your land?
Vague enough, yes! I think this point is probably something which could catch people out
marks all or part of a parish boundary that existed before 1850
Off hand I think the advisory level for treating Fusarium is 10% and Septoria 15%, I could be wrong though. I'm pretty sure there's an AHDB article on the levels somewhere.
In short yes for both. For BCN you will be getting a species which has been shown not to increase populations whereas a cheap one is more than likely to be susceptible and therefore cause an increase. Similarly with PCN you can get some varieties of mustard or other brassicas which don't have...
Using the cheapest mustard is probably increasing your BCN problem! Especially once you've sown your mustard if we have a warm end of summer/ early autumn, above 15° C causes BCN to hatch in a large amount
Controlling BCN and PCN works in two different ways.
The way in which brassica 'trap...
Have you looked for leather jackets? There's been some about causing a bit of damage and plant loss a few weeks ago just South of the Brecks, still on some light land. The plant loss seems to have stopped now they've grown on.
There is still the odd person who uses Vydate, not many at all.
Not so much augers but rather corers - I bought two last summer on here from the Farm Marketplace

Hi,
Nothing major but,
I've just tried to save a jpeg image included in a post from the meme thread on the mobile app (Apple) to my phone to share. A soon as pressing save photo the app just closes without saving the photo
Just a minor inconvenience when I have too much time on my hands...
I think there's a real disconnect between people and their surroundings and how they value it. People just don't seem to care as it's not them having to clear it up or live next to it. I'm sure the vast, vast majority of them do not live in squalor and do not treat their homes like how they...
Second for a scaffold tower! I hired one in early autumn for outdoor painting, it's great as you can paint a large width in one go without having to move it too often. If you get one with wheels on it you can easily push it around if you're on concrete.
Have a chat to Direct Line to see what they can offer. When my sister started driving with an old Polo, the NFU were extortionate! She did also have a 'Black Box' fitted which helped knock off some money I can't recall how much though
I would think the first is an Amaranth of some species. It's causing growers in the states a big headache, especially in cotton crops. I've only seen it twice in the UK.
As already said Buckwheat, Thorn Apple and then Phacelia.
