Have it on a manual spool with the flow turned right down on the back, doing it this way is the best we have found so far with 4 different tractors (2x7618 and 2x7624) just got a 7724 with bigger pump but haven't tried it yet. The demo 3m we had was no problem on a 7618 this way.
Realised it...
We have the autoguide 3000 which does do headlands. But you are right mapping is a issue. If your drilling tractor as the larger pump you should be good. Found the standard 7624 hydraulics lacking with speed on the lifting and lowering of the coulters
I never claimed to be a good operator just...
Is that a 6m? What sort of Gps are you looking at that doesn't do headlands? And no I'm probably no where near as good an operator as I think I am, but who cares?! Another thing for you to ponder would be tractor hydraulic flow, what tractor will you be running it on?
Trust me when I say in a lot of conditions seeing that mark is nearly impossible in daylight. In the dark with the amount of shadows coming off that drill, good luck
Is This a serious question? You going to give him night vision so he can see the mark in he dark? I do wonder sometimes if you've ever sat in a tractor with the engine running!
Have you had a MRI? GP was useless with me, I had the it might fix diagnosis! Had to beg for the scan and as soon as those results where back his tune changed quickly!
Orthopaedic surgeon could tell it was knackered straight away, didn't even bother with a scan for the second knee.
I've had 2 full acl reconstructions and trims plus i need another. The longer you leave it the larger the chance of a acl tear. 6 to 8 week recovery period Is dependant on what condition you in physically and how hard you hit rehab. I was more or less good to go in 8 weeks after a acl...
We do this with a 4m power Harrow and a 6 row drill. Works well and we've done 3 seasons with it like this ( 250 acres a season). For the pto speed we just had another pulley off the dealers. Very straight forward and gives a lovely even seed depth.
I would look at getting some short trailers with larger sides on them so they can tip in your lowest shed. Bailey and Stewart make them. Better still measure your lowest shed to see that you can get away with. The smaller the trailer you buy the more you would need
Hired a 8m from a chap in Cirencester year before last, suppose that's a bit far. Best bet is to talk to your local lexion garage and see who has one in your area. I managed to get hold of one in 2 hours, you should be alright with 7/8 months.
The test calibration as you put it is the wrong one, press the button directly above that. You will then press the green enter button while it primes the metering unit with a bit of seed. Empty this then press again, It will then ask you to give the weight of the seed collected. Once this is...
