60×80 shed, downpipe positioning

Putting up a 60' wide × 80' long shed. Using the deep profile plastic guttering.

Will I get away with the downpipes at one end of the 80' run, or do I need to position them half way along the shed so gutters only taking 40' each way of rain water?

I'd prefer the downpipes at the end, but would be pleased of any experience/ advice. Thanks

Go large on gutters and down pipes and add a few rain water harvesting tanks at the end of the down pipes and you are sorted for sprayer water

This is a 200mm gutter going into 160mm down pipes running to a rainwater harvesting filter and tanks (This is on a 140x75ft shed)

We can quote for any rainwater harvesting needs filters or tanks etc

8” deep flow gutters & 6” down pipes at one end of a 110’ span 75’ long. All fine when new but a bit like a woman, not as good when it all starts to sag. Now got steel gutters & extended the shed to 155’ still with one 6” down pipe at the end & its always coped so far.

I actually bought that off of them a few months back, and it arrived and was for 110mm downpipes. They said the description was wrong on the website and took it back, said they couldn't get 160mm ones.

I looked up specs once of 170 deep flow the specs answer was 60ft length if at end or 120ft if in centre an idea to be in spec could be to have outlet 20ft from end?
I don't know if this was based on a M2 of roof area I was looking at a 60ft building so still comparable

Rightly or wrongly we've gone with 170mm deep flow, and putting downpipes half way along (80ft long shed). Taken cheapest option.

It won't cause an issue if it does overflow occasionally. Will see how it goes.

If we ever put a lean-to on side of building, then we could alter fall of gutter to fall either way and put fallpipe at each end.
