Surely a good accountant you trust is worth more than saving a few quid? Unless you don’t feel you have the former?
Edit - There’s nothing wrong with asking prices though for comparison.

We are paying £7500 for a partnership and a Ltd company.was told that in reality the hrs booked I should have paid 10k plus and in all reality will next yr. I did have questions through out the yr.
our info is delivered online in a compatible form to their systems. They were dealt with by an intern and were taken over by another. Their questions were fielded in the most part by our farm secretary who became increasingly frustrated by their basic and repetitive nature.

Depends so much on what they are doing for you. I am paying about a 1/3 of what your paying but they are just preparing our end of year accounts and submitting tax assessments (along with some advice).

Not much different. They provide a management page at the back and offer advice on how to appropriate the profits in a tax efficient manner. Is that worth £5k ?

Sounds expensive, sounds like your secretary is not impressed and presumably he/she doing a great job so not leaving a lot for the accountants to do.

we pay a lot less than that, covers partnership, and personal tax.

and we have had a massive amount of advice, re sorting out a trust.

big S West firm, ag based, and a senior partner.

all day to day bookwork on a compatible system to theirs, so should be 'easy'.

We're paying half that for similar work. It's more than we paid before but they seem to be getting it right. Having someone you trust is worth a lot.
