Would a side of cows like a shock during milking?Would a strand of electric work?

I am very easily persuaded when it comes to pretty cows, add red into the equation and I'm gone...
Was lucky enough to visit Molly a few years ago. Beautiful herd of cows, far from everyone's cup of tea, but she knows what she's doing that's for sure. Got to see the great lexi before she passed, along with hearty and several of her other daughters. Lexi really was a cow that stuck with me, an absolute tank and just stunning.

The whole herd is an absolute credit to her, really has built the business up off her own back.
Would love to see autumn one day a real stunner of a cow, very good milker but the commercial breeder in me says she could do with some fat %, I have a feeling that isn't top of the priorities for her thoughShe had a cow and heifer at dairy day.
son used to do a bit of relief milking, he was milking, when he received a big shock, both sides of cows just collapsed. He restarted the pump, and everything functioned correctly, l drove over straight away, very worried. Arrived the same time as the elec board, the neutral cable, on the high voltage line, had snapped, earthed out on the parlour, and blew the supply to the local town. When l told him what had happened, he was shocked, had to sit down, as he was a funny white colour. I gathered son was extremely lucky.Would a side of cows like a shock during milking?
Considered it and decided against it, as I reckon it will put cows off coming in the parlour whereas I don't normally have to go and get any cows in, will cause shitting etcWould a strand of electric work?
White one in front looks good tooView attachment 1063736not a bad looking cow for a bunch of empty misfits
I'm not fussed if it's an Angus bull or heifer, as long as its out.White one in front looks good too
Sexed semen this time round?
Get the electric fence up and strip graze. Make far better use of it.Fresh grazing for the calves. They've been told to eat slowly...
All depends what yield you are targeting. I know one herd that grazes right up to service. And it works brilliantly but only 600kgs of solids. I know another higher yielding herd who wouldn’t dream of having there’s out after calving. @frederickHow long will it take a cow to transition back to grass from a tmr? We’ve got grass growing now for the first time in months. Seems so wrong to keep them housed but don’t want to be chopping and changing their diet. If weather plays ball I see no reason to not have them out until end of October, giving us 3 weeks fully housed prior to service.
This is one of the major things holding me back. I want/ need more yield than we’ve had previously but seems criminal housing if we have grassAll depends what yield you are targeting.
