Auto section retrofit

Asking if anyone knows the cheapest way ( if possible) to put an after market kit together with this box to make the sprayer (JD512) auto section. Assuming could go matrix and boom pilot I think but also wondering if there's a better / cheaper way.

So you currently have RTK autosteer?

So for AgOpenGPS would need a
F9P receiver and antennae, approx £200, Panasonic FZ-G1 tablet, approx £200
Relay module circa £100
Cables and connectors

Think those JD boxes are TeeJet rebadged, in which case I think they are simple 12v signal on.
Made one auto section control last summer

In the picture above, its 4 section, the white, brown, green and red wires are 12v signals from the AgOpenGPS relays.

So can still use the manual section switches if needed.

So that's your cheapest way and probably the best way too, obviously RTK accuracy as well.

Thanks Andy. Really appreciate the help. I'll pull together the bits and may have to contact you for more info if that's ok? Definitely 844 based controller.

I've got the same control box on my jd510. As @Andy26 said, very straightforward to integrate with agopengps if that's the route you want to go down without spending a great deal 👍
