Badgers in maize

Electric fence, we used to fence off our maize trial plots when we did them some years ago and it worked a treat. I have customers now who fence the odd field, difficult however with large maize plants right up to the hedge. :scratchhead:

Actually a little early for the badgers getting in on it, how far advanced are the cobs?

That was last year since the cull we don't get any trouble

So despite not 'taking out' enough badgers last year, they have reduced the pressure of numbers enough for you to notice a difference. Well that has to be a good result.(y) Makes me feel happier about any future cull in Cornwall as I must admit that up to now I have thought that, because of the numbers in Cornwall, individual farm control of badgers would probably be the best answer.
