I agree with Walton 2 cap will be threadedRoc axles have threaded caps....little bit of heat on that and some stilsons or preferably the right spanner/socket should get it apart...

Did the job, plus I still class the four bits of metal as 'good' so easy to reuseThink the suggestion was to weld up a spanner, not stick it with slag
