Looks like they're beginning to get through the pile of errors - just received remittance advice in todays post, payment of nearly £2k that was taken off 2015 claim due to their mapping error. No accompanying letter or calculation as to how the figure has been arrived at, and no apology for their mistake of course. Amount seems about right though. Not checked yet to see if entitlements have been amended.

Still no payment at all yet. I asked if it was possible, after all the waiting and cost incurred to me via interest rates and the selling of stock premature, if I could be preferential fast tracked on the 2016 claim. As a young new farmer who has just bought entitlements I won't stand another year like this.
You can guess what there reply was.......

I've been forced to sell a field, if I hadn't it'd all be over !.
Not that the RPA will give a ffuk like but there you have it.

I have now received the remainder of my claim and a claim statement so there is something happening in the RPA offices. Whether my name beginning with an A, or my complaining on here about their email telling me that my email had been deleted or my complaint about being underpaid being sent in March has anything to do with it .....
Good luck to the rest of you

Copy of letter received yesterday, no reason why we had money deducted, no apology either.

Yet more proof (if it needed) that the payment delays have little to do with the information farmers have put on their claims and a lot to do with the completely abject organisation that the RPA has now become. I hope that when this fiasco is finally over those responsible are held to account.

Btw- sweet f##k all here
