Brexit supporters being misled (well I never)

I have a florin on 'revoke' as the logical outcome of the constitutional mess in which the UK finds itself. I expect all those who don't agree with my analysis to pay up, if I am proved correct. I will return to claim my winnings.

On the question of correctness, the pretend barrister 'Danllan' has been providing legal advice about the legal systems in the UK (there are three, not one as he claims). His advice is just plain wrong.

A simple example - if someone is killed it is 'unlawful' and also a criminal act, and a civil wrong.

He may have a law degree from somewhere, a long time ago, but his legal understanding is woeful. There is a reason why he is so shy of telling you about that, isn't there?

Various civil agents can kill someone legally and members of the public can also kill someone unintentionally legally.

You mean if someone is killed "Unlawfully".

Parliament could "Revoke" Article 50 and I wouldn't be surprised to see Berk-dictator do such a thing .. but it will mean very serious repercussions for Westminster - which I think would be absolutely brilliant.

Bring it on.

He's out again, and he can't keep a promise can he?

There are three Jurisdictions, and there is one system containing them, hence the overall precedence of the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom. (y)

If someone is killed it may be a criminal act, if it is a murder, manslaughter etc.. It is not necessarily unlawful, just as a couple of examples... killing in self defence or on instruction from a superior officer or Minister of the Crown can both be lawful.

No need to thank me for the tutorial Wallykins - you can't stop yourself can you?! :ROFLMAO:

Well my learned friend its a florin lost, Brexit will be delivered quite possibly after a general election. And really you should have known by now in these Trumpian times that "logical" counts for very little. As Gordon Brown once said "we have entered into uncharted waters". Lets hope those waters don't turn into something akin to the South African Cape Horn on a very bad day, which is exactly what will happen if Parliament reneges on implementing Brexit.
