I guess at least you can see both forks…at the expense of everything else. It does however make a massey more interestingI’ve never seen one of these before , we’re many made ?View attachment 1024897
unaware they were made near Bedford but I think I am wrong about a Parmiter connection after a bit of researchI thought they were made around Bedford by someone. There was an article about them in classic tractor several years ago. There was a contracting outfit (Willpo?) who ran ads in the free farming press in the eighties who had a couple.
Parmiter had something called a Stretcha is think a normal loader that extended outwards as it was lifted by some mechanical means (My specialist subject Power Farming magazine 1970- 1990)unaware they were made near Bedford but I think I am wrong about a Parmiter connection after a bit of research
nowt at all interesting about a 595 4WD! glad to see the back of ours nd the trail of oil it left behind!I guess at least you can see both forks…at the expense of everything else. It does however make a massey more interesting
Could be how massey came up with the concept of the sloped bonnet models?I bet that thing was a disaster waiting to happen ,,all the lift in one place and the stresses going down through the mountings ,,how long before it was twisted and the boom put a big dent in the nose end
Aye,,thats a thoughtCould be how massey came up with the concept of the sloped bonnet models?
Please note excessive use of red oxide on the front end…looks like it already happened!I bet that thing was a disaster waiting to happen ,,all the lift in one place and the stresses going down through the mountings ,,how long before it was twisted and the boom put a big dent in the nose end
