Calcifert (S) settings for Bogbale

Anyone spread Calcifert with a KRM Bogbale disc spreader, mine's an M2. Charts have never heard of anything weighing 1.36kgs/litre. I'm really after the flow figure to put into the Calibrator Uniq control box but don't mind guessing to get a start. I assume the heavier the fert, the higher the flow number, so can I just multiply up from a known fert with a known weight? Thanks for any help.

Thanks @stevedave, I've just had a look, it gives PTO speeds and vane settings etc but nothing on calibration.

Yes @nick... that's what I will have to do, but will have to rig up my own way of catching the fert coming of the discs, I don't have the proper kit. Just thought it might be easier if someone had the number and I could wack it straight in.

It’s not the weight but how fast it runs. Compound is denser than lithan but the lithan runs faster. Compound has a calibration factor of about 22 and lithan about 32

Does it still give the prill sizes, weight and strength? If it does fill that info into the app and it should give you the settings.
Yes, it gives those values so I've put them in the app and it's come up with flow number of 24.8. Will try that in the morning and do a flow test. Thanks all.

Get in touch with your KRM area man. When I questioned ours about having difficulty finding the correct charts he said to ask him, so I now just text him the details of the product and he replies with the chart number.

I spoke to David but he's never heard of fertiliser this heavy and there are no charts that come near. He gave me a rough strength number to use but I won't know till I try it because of flow characteristics.
